The Chesham Literary Festival is a partnership between Jon Bickley (Invisible Folk), Mark Jackson-Hancock (Chapter Two) and Ben Batten. Our first event was a poetry competition run in the spring of 2023. There were three categories Chesham resident, Under 11 and the rest of the world. The event was so successful we will be running another poetry competition in 2024.
The winner of the Chesham resident category and the Rest of the world category was Valerie Jack for her poem To the Eastern Edge with Mother.
The Judge's choice prize was won by Karen Luke for her poem Dog's Bone.
Invisible Folk have made a series of podcasts for the Chesham Literary Festival. https://invisiblefolkclub.libsyn.com/chesham-literary-festival-poetry-competition-2023

Following the success of the Poetry Competition 2023, we will be holding another on in 2024. We will open for entries 1st March and close 1st June. Winners will be announced and awarded in July.
